We all rely on our eyesight in every aspect of our daily lives. Much of what we do depends on having clear vision.
Yet some people don’t have their eyes examined at regular intervals. Part of the reason for this is that eyes don’t let you know in an obvious way when something is wrong. Often deterioration is gradual, so you may not notice a change in your vision. Regular eye examinations are important because the sooner a vision problem is detected, the greater the chance of successful treatment.
Unless otherwise advised, you should have an eye examination every two years. It may be necessary to have them more frequently, depending on your age and medical history.
